THE Eureka Creek Rodeo, Campdraft and Races kicks off tomorrow adding another day to their usual three-day event to cope with the massive influx of competitors coming from across the region to compete.
Running from tomorrow (Thursday, July 22) until Sunday, the event will feature a host of campdraft and rodeo events to enjoy plus an eight-card race day on Saturday.
The fun begins at 7am each day with a jam-packed program full of bronc bucking, steer wrestling everything else and everyone’s favourite rodeo event, bullrides.
Event Coordinator Tammy Sivyer is excited to host the Eureka Creek Rodeo and welcome all the competitors after cancelling last year’s event.
“This year we are full steam ahead we’ve got four days of campdrafting, rodeo events and races to enjoy,” she said.
“I won’t lie it’s a big job but we are really excited to be hosting again this year.
“Our positive feedback shows in our competitors and how many nominations, we have had a massive number of nominations and that is why we have had to extend the rodeo.”
There is also a special dash for cash costume footrace this year during the race day on Saturday along with fashions on the field.
Camping is available for the duration of the rodeo with live music playing both Friday and Saturday nights.
Tickets range from $10 to $30 search up Eureka Creek Campdraft, Rodeo and Races on Facebook for the link to grab your tickets now.
