THE Georgetown community was out in force over last weekend as they had their 150+1-year celebration with hundreds lining the streets for markets stalls, food, fun and floats.

The celebration was pushed back from last year due to COVID and it certainly didn’t disappoint with nearly 400 people in the streets well until midnight on some nights.

The weekend also saw the unveiling of the new George and Doreen Dickenson Memorial Swimming Pool, George and Doreen were instrumental in getting the pool built for the community.
