Help support Hummingbird House at Coles
MAREEBA locals can once again help support families and children living with life-limiting conditions by purchasing donation cards at Mareeba Coles in support of Queensland’s only children’s hospice, Hummingbird House.
The promotion started at the end of August and will run until 27 September with customers being able to purchase $2 donation cards at Coles stores across the state including Mareeba – they feature four unique designs created by Hummingbird House families.
With more than 5,700 babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions across Queensland, Hummingbird House is a home away from home.
Mareeba Coles store support manager Lee Dodds said the team was excited to take part in the fundraising campaign for another year.
“The team and our local community really rally behind the Hummingbird House fundraising, which goes towards important services for kids across Queensland,” he said.
